I also feel like it's too good to be true, but we'l find out soon enough, hopefully someone will do a podcast on it.
I didn't see another topic about this. Then again, I didn't look very hard, but it's not up in the most recent topics.
Anyway, I do think it's too good to be true. I don't know if it's a scam, because, as far as devices for the blind go, the price is actually in the range you might expect it to be. If it were a scam, I'd say the price would be lower, to try to suck more people into buying it. But there's no way it works as well as it shows in that video. Nothing works perfectly 100% of the time.
I sure would love to get my hands on one to see exactly what it is like, how bulky it is, etc. And of course, I'd love to try using one just for kicks.
yeah, me too, I would like to try one, but I surely will not trust it to navigate me in the streets or riding a bus. what if it fails when i'm crossing... *shatters*

But yours states specifically the name of the product. I didn't read the other topic because I don't have a smart phone and don't use apps, so I would have missed it completely if not for your topic. I think the admin should leave both up here.

yup, it is not un app, it is a camera like devise that is wareable from what I understand
